PolySOL PET Banner is a flame-retardant (B1), coated and waterfast polyester-fabric banner for eco and true-solvent inkjet devices. The product is very tear resistant and therefore suitable for versatile indoor- and outdoor applications. It has an increased flatness for the use as free hanging banner or the use as curl-free display banner. PolySOL PET Banner is also suitable for the use with UV-curable printers. The product was tested with different UV-curable inks from Colorspan The fixation of the ink to the surface is very strong and the UV-lamps can be run on reduced performance (low) to avoid high temperatures and a possible cracking of the inks. The print is water-resistant. Depending on the ink used and the climatic changes, the outdoor stability may be reduced due to the brittleness of the ink (estimated 3 months without further protection).
