Universal Canvas UVC is an artistic, natural Canvas with a 1:1 canvas-structure and slight satin-finish-surface for high quality graphic-art applications on roll-fed UV-curable-ink printers. This product is especially suitable for picture presentations as full colour graphics and reproductions of art and photos, where the structure of the fabric is very pronounced and decorative. The product was tested with different UV-curable inks from Colorspan  The fixation of the ink to the surface is very strong and the UV-lamps can be run on reduced performance (low) to avoid high temperatures and a possible cracking of the inks. The print is water-resistant. Main applications are for indoor only. Depending on the ink used and the climatic changes, the outdoor stability may be reduced due to the brittleness of the ink. When the canvas is framed, it should be printed after framing (if the printer has a flatbed option) to avoid a cracking of the inks on the folds.
