new tilting mechanism

Originally the Tilting mechanism for the Lens carrier frame is made of a combination consisting of micro drive and locking lever. So far, in order to apply a tilt movement first the Zero-position locating pin is to be turned open, then the locking lever is released, the tilt movement is made, and finally the lock is set again. Now with the new version, the tilting mechanism does not need any locking levers anymore since it is equipped with a self-locking fine micro-drive. You just move it and it stays in place

New zero position locating pin

Originally, the Zero-position locating pin of the Lens carrier frame was actually a pin that needed to be screwed in or out. The new version of this pin is much more comfortable. In order to apply a tilt to the lens you just pull the Zero-position locating pin, turn it by 90°, and leave it alone. Now you can easily and comfortably apply the tilt with the micro drive, and that's it. To set the Lens back to the horizontal alignment, turn the Zero-position locating pin again by 90°, then turn the tilt micro drive until the Lens carrier frame automatically sets back in the original zero posi-tion. This allows for an easy, quick, and safe operation.

Images can precisely be composed on the focusing screen of the camera´s sliding back. Digital backs from Sinar and Leaf can be attached to the camera by means of the Sinar Hy6/Leaf AFi interface. Sinar´s unique revolving adapter allows changing the image orientation without removing the Sinarback from the camera, granting a safe and dust-free operation.
