Lens Extension Tube AF 17, Sinar m one of the set of Lens Extension Tubes with extensions of 17, 34, and 68 mm, respectively. The 120 mm lens itself covers scales of reproduction from infinity to 1:4.5, allowing for example to reproduce pictures of approximately 170 x 220 mm and larger (depending on the sensor's size). With the new Lens Extension Tubes this range can be expanded to a scale of reproduction of up to 1:1. The Lens Extension Tubes fully integrate into the Sinar m system. In particular, the Sinar m automatically detects the number and lengths of Lens Extension Tubes inserted between the Sinar m Mirror Module and the AF lens. This ensures that the correct focusing distance is displayed in the Sinar CaptureShopâ ¢ capturing software, facilitating to reproduce the exact same capturing conditions later on. Sinar m Lens Extension Tubes AF 17, 34, and 68 mm for a scale of reproduction of up to 1:1. Any Sinaron Digital AF lens can be attached to the Lens Extension Tubes. However, to ensure optimum image quality we recommend using them with the 120 mm macro lens only. For best performance of the Lens Extension Tubes the Sinar m should be equipped with the latest firmware version 2.10 or higher and Sinar Capture- Shopâ ¢ 5.4 and higher be used. With the Sinar m Firmware Updater, which can be downloaded for free from the Sinar website www.sinarcameras.com, the end-user can update his Sinar m by him/herself.
