The Sinar m PowerGrip, left is made to power the Sinar m and its at-tached accessory components independently from an external 12 V power supply.
It can be used on the Sinar m for tethered or untethered operation with any Sinarback eMotion as well as for tethered operation with a Sinarback eVolution 75H, with a Sinarback 54 M/MC, or with a Sinarback 54 H/S with firewire interface.
The PowerGrip left can also be used on a Sinar p3 view camera using the Sinar m as fast shutter with a Sinarback 54 M/MC or Sinarback 54 H/S, Sinaron Digital CAB or CMV lens, and a Sinar LC Shutter for best Live image quality without the need of any external 12 V power supply.
Using the PowerGrip left instead of the PowerGrip bottom saves some weight.
With this, the Sinar m can be used as a true mobile medium format solution. Furthermore, compared to the PowerGrip bottom, the PowerGrip left allows for a more rigid fastening of the Sinar m on the tripod.
For mobile and for applications in the studio, the Sinar m Battery PowerGrip can be easily attached to the left side of the Sinar m by means of a rapid fastening screw.
No tools of any kind are re-quired to do this.
